INSOLENTLY, GO GO - EPISODE 10
Kim Yeol and Yeon Doo kiss (you knew it had to happen sometime!)
They rush Kim Yeol to the hospital, where it's quickly determined he will be fine (was there really any doubt?).I thought he might wake up in the Joseon era (sorry, bad 'Orange Marmalade'�joke). Yeon Doo visits him, and becomes the recipient of both a wrist grab and full-on kiss. Kim Yeol even makes up with his father, which is important since the father and Yeon Doo's mom are making plans for a marriage and the kids don't know yet.
Soo Ah is completely consumed by guilt for everything she's done. She snaps when her mother tells her it doesn't matter. She has a fun time with Dong Jae, a date of sorts. Then she walks off with a purpose. The kids find a suicide note, and Dong Jae rushes to save her, pulling her from the path of an oncoming car and holding her in his arms, his touch phobia lifted in the face of desperation.

Soo Ah recuperates in a hospital ward and refuses all visitors. As Principal Choi can't protect her anymore, her mother makes arrangements for her to study abroad. Yeon Doo and her team not only quash gossip about her, they send a video note to her reassuring her that they're her friends and that they all want her back...
Dong Jae seems to have a thing for Soo Ah. He had it bad enough where he claims he just acted because he had to despite his phobia. The fact that he went out with her also helps confirm this since everyone else would be treating her like a pariah and the other students were trash talking her on social media. They make a cute couple though. N has enough boyish charm to pull this off, and Chae Soo Bin's smile is absolutely radiant. We've got a couple more episodes to go, maybe they'll ship them. �

And Kim Yeol and Yeon Doo seem like they're an item now, but that leaves poor Ha Joon out in the cold. He saw them together, and that crushed him. I kinda wish there was someone waiting for him, too, but maybe that would blunt the emotional impact. But even second leads have love lives too, right? I even did an article about that one (insert shameless plug here). He's a handsome enough guy, and now that he's opened his heart maybe someone else will try and step in.
Soo Ah and Ha Joon shared a moment in an earlier episode, where Soo Ah contemplated drowning herself. Ha Joon understood, and that's why he stood by. The mom didn't seem particularly affected by the suicide because, after she was found safe, the mom went back to business as usual, a chaebol trying to buy her daughter's way out of trouble. It's a bit different since usually a world-shaking thing like that brings the crabby older person back to their senses, but in this case that didn't happen at all.

This episode tugged on the heartstrings - a lot. Yeon Doo and Kim Yeol finally took the plunge and got together. Soo Ah goes out with Dong Jae and tries to commit suicide, and after all, that they send her a get well soon and come back to school card that while funny, also was touching. As much as I have a sense of justice and karma, I think a redemption story, if the writers can craft a realistic one, is more powerful. And this is not just character drift -- her expressions every time she did something, feeling terrible in her private moments, it's been building for a long time.
Now I have to wonder. Will Soo Ah make a triumphant return or will her mom prevent it and whisk her away to America or elsewhere? Will Ha Joon get over Yeon Doo? How will Kim Yeol and Yeon Doo react when their parents pop the news that they'll be siblings? I guess I have to wait a week, just like everyone else.
