On today's Super Junior's Kiss the Radio session, Tiffany, Sunny, Jessica and Sooyoung of SNSD performed a cover of the Spice Girls' smash hit "Wannabe". I think this is the first time I've heard any kpop artist cover this song, and it kind of makes you wonder why there aren't more Spice Girls covers. I mean the Spice Girls were huge back then. Although besides this song, my only other memory of them is the part in their movie "Spice World" where aliens visited earth, and greeted the girls by squeezing one of the Spice Girls' boobies. Good times. Furthermore, "Wannabe" is a catchy upbeat song, and it also sends the positive message of "chicks before di..." well, you know what goes there. "If you want to be my lover, you gotta get with my friends"? Yes please! Overall, the cover was great, and I was very impressed with Sooyoung's and Sunny's English. Thanks prot0980 for the video.
