Comedian Jung Bum Kyun helped save a man from committing suicide.

The Mapo Fire Department revealed that the comedian (well known for looking like Yoo Jae Suk on 'Happy Together 3') had saved a man from jumping at the Seoul-Mapo Bridge.

The man, in his 40s, had tried to commit suicide, but had been held back by a few people in their 20s and 30s. Jung Bum Kyun himself was among them, and even selflessly positioned himself so that he was almost over the bridge and managed to bring the man back, while putting himself at risk of falling as well. He calmed the man down, waited until the fire department came, transferred the man over to the fire department, and then quietly left.

The firemen reported, "We repeatedly expressed our gratitude for what he did. He was very modest and said that he did something anyone else could have done." Currently, the fire department is considering naming him an honorary 119 rescue worker.
