Brand Stock Top Index places YG Entertainment as #1 label in entertainment

YG Entertainment was determined to be #1 in terms of brand evaluation out of all the companies in the Korean entertainment sector.

The 'Brand Stock Top Index (BSTI)' measures the values of brands based on models that studies stock prices and the confidence of consumers through a survey. In the entertainment sector, BSTI has determined YG Entertainment to be 1st, moving ahead of SM Entertainment.

The Brand Stock Top Index grades companies on a 1000 point scale. 700 of the points are brought from brand's stock value as determined by stock market prices, and 300 of the points are from the consumer survey index. YG Entertainment earned 811.2 points in the survey, SM Entertainment had 808.8 points, and JYP Entertainment had 714.5 points.
