TS Entertainment has recently announced that rookie group B.A.P will be releasing their single "Goodbye" ahead of the release of their first mini-album, whose title and release date have yet to be announced. The single is expected to see its release on July 9th.
Goodbye is specially noted as it is produced by none other than TOP, the lead guitarist for The Seo Taiji Band. TOP is said to have taken on the role as not just the head producer, but as well as a musician as he is featured on the song playing a variety of instruments from guitar, bass guitar and the drums. While B.A.P's previous singles showcased strong urban, hip-hop influences, Goodbye is said to a rock number that will marriage B.A.P's unique musical color with the distinctive rock sound as produced by TOP.
Lyrically, Goodbye will take in the same mold as the group's earlier releases as a commentary on society, describing their encouragement for fans to "never be frightened of new beginnings" and to "keep their hopes alive for their dreams."
