Leader'S draw attention for their 2018 Winter Olympic song

Eight-member girl group Leader'S recently released their congratulatory theme song for the 2018 Pyeong Chang Winter Olympics. Consisting of students from high schools for the arts, Leader'S is a new group that plans to promote the group and the Olympics with their new dance track, "Olympic Korea." The song is the first upbeat track to follow the duet between Kim Yuna and Park Jung Hyun earlier this year promoting the 2018 Olympics as well. "Olympic Korea" was produced by Jung Won Soo, a maker of many hit trot songs including Nam Jin's "Windy Road" and Hyun Chul's "Love Explosion." The track has a general pop electronic feel with a slight trot twist and is easy enough for anyone to follow along with. Jung Won Soo said, "I�transfered the excitement I felt from hearing the 2018 Pyeong Chang news into simple lyrics and matched it with the fundamental Korean melody. I gave the song to a girl group that I believe will best use this song to cheer at the events," and to carry on the excitement through 2018.
