Nine Muses member Eunji attracted a lot of attention after winning the women's 100m dash at MBC's Chuseok event, '3rd Idol Star Athletics Championships'.
Eunji held an interview recently in Seoul's CJ E&M center, which is also where 'M! Countdown' gets recorded. She stated, "After the episode was broadcast, I got a lot of congratulatory phone calls from friends. In the previous championships, I got 2nd place, and I was made fun of for being 'eternally 2nd' so I was a bit sad, but I'm really happy to get all the calls saying congrats."
She went on, "I wanted to get away from 2nd place, I didn't even worry about the camera, and ran with all my might."
Eunji won 1st with 15.84 seconds in the 100m race, beating strong competitor Bora from SISTAR by .01 seconds.
