Singer Kim Bum Soo, who is currently enjoying the spotlight as a contestant on MBC's "I Am a Singer", will be performing a duet with American R&B legend Brian McKnight.
The two will be attending the music concert "Rainbow Festival 2011" in Kangwon Province on July 3rd. People were noticing that Kim Bum Soo was the only special guest to perform with Brian McKnight, and it seems they weren't wrong to wonder. Apparently, the two singers didn't just get together by chance, as it was revealed that McKnight himself chose to work with Kim Bum Soo.
A representative of Kim Bum Soo's agency Polaris Entertainment stated, "He and Brian McKnight worked together on song selection, rearrangement, and practice with the live band, so they've worked passionately for this duet. They met in March when Brian McKnight came on as a guest on a program with Kim Bum Soo. Brian McKnight played the piano for him while he sang, and Kim Bum Soo gifted him with his seventh album, so it appears they vibe on a musical level."
