ZEROBASEONE has officially made their debut!
On July 10 KST, WAKEONE unveiled the 'Boys Planet' project group's debut mini album 'YOUTH IN THE SHADE,' featuring its title track "In Bloom."
"In Bloom" is a mid-tempo pop song that fuses the nostalgic riff of A-ha's 1985 hit "Take On Me" with an impressive trendy sound incorporating elements of drum-and-bass. The lyrics express the desire to run toward love even in its incomplete and immature phases, and the 'blossoming' theme of the song's title can be seen in the music video's sweet floral concept.
Meanwhile, 'YOUTH IN THE SHADE' features six tracks in total – including "Back to ZEROBASE," "In Bloom," promotional B-side "New Kidz on the Block," "And I," "Our Season," and "Always," a solo song performed by Zhang Hao, the group's center and the top-ranked contestant from the 'Boys Planet' finale.
