Ailee performed on the year-end special for 'Immortal Songs 2'.
On the December 31st 'King of Kings 2' special, Ailee covered YB's hit song from 2006, "A Flying Butterfly". She expressed, "I prepared this song for the youth who are flying towards their dreams like the lyrics in 'A Flying Butterfly'. I want to sing this song with the hope that they flap their wings and fly high in 2023."
Though she had the audience out of their seats, it was Eunkwang and Kim Ki Tae who took the trophy for the round as well as the ultimate win. Ailee also made the record for the most 'Immortal Song' wings in 2022.

Oh my God, when I lived in Korea, my closest friend there and I sang this at noraebang all the time! This is awesome! And this is probably my favorite Ailee performance ever, just incredible.
