FANATICS' unit Flavor shakes it up in quirky and colorful debut MV for 'Milkshake'

Upcoming girl group FANATICS has debuted their very first unit Flavor!

On November 26, the unit - comprised of Korean member Yoonhye, Taiwanese member Chiayi, and 'Produce 48' contestant Kim Do Ah - released their debut single "Milkshake" as well as its bright and quirky music video.

"Milkshake" has a retro feel that is augmented by the song's heavy synth-pop vibe, and is accompanied by a fun 'shake' dance. The song is sung from the perspective of girls who want a love as rich and sweet as a milkshake.

Among those who worked on the song include producer/songwriter Nassun (KARD's "Oh NaNa" & "Don't Recall"), music video director ZanybrosHong Won Ki (Wanna One's "Boomerang"), and 'Produce 48' judge and choreographer Bae Yoon Jung.

Not great, but at least its a bit different compared to what everyone else is releasing right now. Syth-pop for the win!

Nowadays no one can sing a song about milkshakes without people immediately thinking "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard." That's the power of Kelis' song. I don't know what Flavor's song is about, but every time they so sweetly pronounce "milkshake", it makes me think of the vulgar slang meaning of the word.
