A high school located in Choongnam's Yesan County is currently receiving much attention from netizens for their upcoming star-studded event celebrating the school's 50th-year history.

On April 5, a photo was posted on the Yesan High School's official social media page where the announced the 50th-year celebratory event scheduled to be held on April 8.

In the unveiled photo, various celebrities are scheduled to perform such as girl group Cosmic Girls, singer Kim Tae Woo, rapper Swings, trot singer Hong Jin Young, veteran singers Tae Jin Ah and Song Dae Kwan, as well as Kim Min Jong and Lim Ji Hoon.

Furthermore, actor Jung Jun Ho and announcer wife Lee Ha Jung will be the MCs for the special festival.�

Upon finding out about the event, netizens commented, "What's the big deal with this high school event?" "Why are so many celebrities attending?," "This looks to be a more expensive event than a university event."

When visiting the school's homepage, the face of famous chef Baek Jong Won can be spotted in the chairman's introductory message.

Baek Jong Won writes "In the ever-changing society of the 21st century, socio-economic knowledge is a crucial aspect of cultural advancement" and "This institute will continue to flourish in providing the necessary tools for success."

It turns out the renowned chef's grandfather established Choongnam's Yeduk�Academy (Yessan High School) and has been the chairman of the high school for five years since May 2012.
