Another tragedy related to the tragic Sewol ferry sinking has occurred as a helicopter returning from a mission at the site of the accident crashed into a neighborhood in Gwangju, South Korea. �A video taken from the dash cam of a vehicle nearby captured the explosion, and witnesses at the scene stated that the helicopter took a nosedive to the ground and they heard a loud crash, which resulted in a fireball and then a great mass of smoke drifting toward the sky.

This crash occurred nearby apartment complexes and a high school, injuring one female student, but killing five passengers aboard the helicopter--two pilots, two rescue workers, and one mechanic. �The Sewol search helicopter was taking off after refueling at Gwangju airport when this accident occurred. �Meanwhile, the cause has yet to be determined.
