Stray Kids are proving that their talents extend far beyond the stage and charts. The group is now making waves in the K-drama and film soundtrack scene, earning praise for their emotional depth and versatility in original soundtracks (OSTs).
The group has built a strong OST track record with standout contributions such as “NeverEnding Story” for MBC’s Extraordinary You, “TOP” and “SLUMP” for the anime Tower of God, and most recently, “SLASH” for Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Their diverse range and immersive vocal delivery have made them one of the most in-demand idol groups in the OST field.
Recently, individual members have taken the spotlight with solo and unit OST projects. Han, Felix, and I.N lent their voices to “GENIE”, the soundtrack of Netflix’s Genie, Make a Wish, capturing delicate emotional nuances that align with the series’ heartfelt tone. The accompanying special music video, released via Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel, features the trio’s live performance interwoven with key drama scenes — earning enthusiastic responses from both viewers and global fans.
Meanwhile, membersLee Know, Seungmin, and I.N released “START!”, the first official OST for tvN’s weekend drama “Resident Playbook”. “START!” is an energetic and emotionally rich song that mirrors the journey of the drama’s characters — young medical residents stepping into a new chapter of their lives. With bright, hopeful lyrics, the track captures the essence of leaving behind a heavy past, embracing the present, and moving boldly into the future.
Seungmin also showcased his signature warm vocals through “It Has to Be You”, part of SBS’s Would You Marry Me? soundtrack. His soft yet expressive tone elevated the drama’s emotional impact, continuing a streak of successful OST contributions including “Here Always” (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha),“My Destiny” (The potato lab) and “Destiny” (The Midnight Studio) .
Meanwhile, Han took on his first-ever solo OST with “Updraft”, the main theme for tvN’s weekend drama Typhoon Family. The song combines powerful vocals, grand choral arrangements, and an inspiring message about perseverance — a perfect match for Han’s musical intensity and lyrical storytelling.
Beyond their OST success, Stray Kids continue to dominate globally. The group recently wrapped up their record-breaking “dominATE” world tour and achieved seven consecutive No.1s on the Billboard 200, marking a historic milestone for K-pop acts.
Stray Kids are now preparing to release their new album SKZ IT TAPE “DO IT” on November 21 at 2 PM KST (12 AM ET). Featuring double title tracks “Do It” and “신선놀음 (DIVINE)”, along with “Holiday”, “Photobook”, and “Do It (Festival Version)”, the album showcases the signature production of the group’s in-house unit 3RACHA — Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han — once again highlighting Stray Kids’ creative power.
With their growing influence across both the music and entertainment industries, Stray Kids continue to prove they can truly “do it all.”
