Singer and actress IU has once again shown her lasting friendship with the cast of 'My Mister'.
On July 14 KST, actor Park Soo Young shared several photos on Instagram, writing:
“Our Ji-an (IU), whom we met through My Mister, is looking after the members of the Hugye-dong Early Morning Soccer Club on a hot summer filming day.”
The photos revealed a coffee truck IU had sent to the set with banners that read:
“From Ji-an, who still owes our fairy-like Soo-young sunbaenim. Enjoy the treats,”
and “Cheering for Soo Young sunbaenim and the For First Love team!”
Smiling in front of the coffee truck, Park Soo Young expressed his gratitude:
“Thanks to our IU, who is full of reasons to be loved, the set is filled with refreshing happiness. Thank you.”
IU and Park Soo Young first connected in the 2018 tvN drama 'My Mister', where IU played Lee Ji-an and Park portrayed Lee Jae-chul. The My Mister cast is known for maintaining their warm friendship even after over seven years.
Meanwhile, Park Soo Young will appear in tvN’s new Monday–Tuesday drama 'For First Love', premiering August 4.
IU is also set to return to the small screen in MBC’s new drama 'The 21st Century Grand Lady', which is scheduled to air in the first half of 2026.
