Girl group UNIS has successfully concluded their music show promotions for their new album.

UNIS wrapped up about three weeks of promotions for their second mini-album "SWICY" and its title track of the same name with a final performance on SBS’s 'Inkigayo', which aired on the afternoon of May 4.

Through their agency F&F Entertainment, UNIS expressed their gratitude, saying, “We were so happy to receive so much love for this new attempt. Thank you and we love you, EverAfter (the official fan club name), for always cheering us on. We were so happy to be able to meet you often.”

"SWICY" garnered significant attention for its unique charm, blending UNIS’s signature lively energy with a sweet and spicy vibe. Its refreshing melody and witty performance, well suited to the group’s eight members, went viral on social media and inspired a wave of challenge videos.

A fresh promotional strategy also fueled the "SWICY" craze. While most artists promote new songs through choreographed challenges and cover videos, UNIS broke from the norm. They released a viral, ad-style film featuring actor Hyun Bong Sik that humorously portrayed "SWICY" scenarios. The video was also used as a comeback teaser on "Show! Champion" and "The Show", drawing widespread attention.

UNIS also achieved notable success with "SWICY". The album topped iTunes charts in 14 countries and entered domestic music charts, ranking 62nd on Melon’s Hot 100 and 3rd on Bugs’ real-time chart—proof of their growing global popularity.

Riding this momentum, UNIS reached a career milestone by winning their first-ever music show trophy on 'Show! Champion' during these promotions.

Though their music show appearances have ended, UNIS’s journey continues. They are now preparing to meet global fans through their first Asia tour. The eight members will also continue to perform on various stages both domestically and internationally to maintain the "SWICY" momentum.
