Jeong Han Wool, a dentist and husband of actress Lee Yoon Ji, has publicly denied recent rumors suggesting he had an affair with a dental assistant and divorced his wife.
On May 11, Jeong addressed the speculation through a post on his personal social media account, stating, "A few days ago, a false article involving me was published. At first, I laughed it off, thinking I'm not someone people would pay much attention to. But over the weekend, many people expressed concern, so I’ve decided to speak out officially."
Along with his statement, Jeong shared a photo of himself dining out with Lee Yoon Ji and their two daughters, emphasizing that his family is doing well. "Despite our busy daily lives, we are happy and doing just fine," he wrote.
The rumors began circulating through several YouTube channels, claiming that Jeong had an extramarital affair with a dental assistant he met at his clinic and subsequently divorced Lee Yoon Ji. As these unfounded allegations continued to spread, Jeong took it upon himself to directly clarify the situation.
According to an industry insider, such baseless rumors can quickly go viral on social media, causing significant emotional distress to those involved.
Lee Yoon Ji and Jeong Han Wool married in September 2014 and are raising two daughters together. Jeong, one year older than Lee, runs a dental clinic in Gangnam, Seoul.
The couple previously appeared on the SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' in 2019, where they gave viewers an intimate look into their married life.
