Singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji hoon) has suddenly halted his YouTube activities.
Recently, a video titled "This is Jung Ji hoon. I apologize" was uploaded to his YouTube channel, 'Season B Season.' In the video, Rain bowed his head and said, "Everyone, I’m sorry."
He explained, "I’m here to share some news. We’ve decided to take a short break to create better content," announcing the pause in his YouTube activities. He added with a laugh, "Even without taking a break, the views haven’t been great lately, so…"
Rain continued, "We’ve received so much love until now. To come back with even cooler and more exciting content that will surprise you all, we’re taking this break. I hope you’ll understand."
He concluded by saying, "We’ll be back soon. Wishing you a happy new year in 2025," before ending the video.
Rain launched 'Season B Season' in July 2020, sharing a variety of content, including mukbangs, workouts, and talk shows, which attracted 1.76 million subscribers.
At its peak, the channel garnered 12.24 million views on a single video. However, recent view counts have dropped to between 100,000 and 680,000 over the past month.
Meanwhile, Rain married actress Kim Taehee in 2017, and the couple has two daughters.
