Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has shared a heartwarming photo with her husband on social media.
On July 10, Son Yeon-jae posted several photos on her social media account, captioning them “A short trip to Tokyo.” In the photos, she is seen wearing a checkered dress, showcasing her slim figure just four months after giving birth.
One photo, in particular, drew attention, showing Son Yeon-jae holding a drink while posing affectionately with her husband. Although her husband's face was concealed, the couple's loving pose exuded a sweet and romantic atmosphere.
Son Yeon-jae made history in South Korean rhythmic gymnastics during her active career. She placed 5th in the individual all-around at the 2012 London Olympics and 4th at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
She officially retired in February 2017 and is currently the CEO of 'Leaf Studio,' where she nurtures aspiring rhythmic gymnasts.
In August 2022, Son Yeon-jae married a financial professional who is nine years her senior. On February 20, her agency Next Euphoria announced, “Son Yeon-jae recently gave birth to a healthy son. Along with the birth, she donated 100 million KRW to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Severance Hospital.”
