The 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' are returning after 2 years.
On June 20, MBC confirmed rumors of the event's return, stating, "It's true the 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' will return this year during the Chuseok holiday." The network further revealed filming for the 'ISAC' will begin in August.
The 'ISAC' is a holiday special program that's been airing since 2010, but took a 2-year hiatus after 2022 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. During the multi-day special, idol singers are challenged to various sporting events.
