BTS member and solo artist Jungkook has once again dominated the global charts.
On June 7, Jungkook released a new digital single, "Never Let Go," which expresses his gratitude for ARMYs (the group's fandom name). Immediately after its release, the special track debuted at No. 1 on the worldwide iTunes song charts and is still at No. 1 on its third consecutive day.
As of June 10, "Never Let Go" has reached No. 1 on iTunes in a total of 102 countries, including the biggest music markets: Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the US, among others. It joins his fellow member V's "FRI(END)S" as the only songs released in 2024 to record No. 1's in 100 countries. In particular, "Never Let Go" is the first 2024 song to hit No. 1 in 102 regions.
"Never Let Go" was released as part of the 2024 FESTA, an annual festival by BTS to commemorate their debut anniversary.
