On April 23, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced, "Ha Sung Woon has faithfully completed his military service as an active-duty soldier today and has been discharged as a corporal."

The label also shared a photo of his discharge. In the picture, Ha Sung Woon can be seen in front of a base in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, dressed in his military uniform and holding a bouquet of flowers.

Reflecting on his service, Ha Sung Woon shared, "It was an unforgettable experience. I learned and felt so much during this valuable time. I'm truly grateful to the comrades who served alongside me."

He also took a moment to thank his fans, adding, "To my beloved 'Haneul' (fandom name), who has supported and waited for me for such a long time, I sincerely thank you."

Debuting as an all-around artist in 2014, Ha Sung Woon gained recognition through his group activities with 'Hotshot' and 'Wanna One.' He has also released seven mini-albums as a solo artist during his music career.

Notably, he maintained communication with his fans even during his military service. Last February, he released a digital single titled 'Snowy Stars' to commemorate his fandom's anniversary.

His agency expressed high expectations for the singer's future activities, stating, "As Ha Sung Woon celebrates his 5th solo debut anniversary, we anticipate that he will continue to grow and meet the expectations of his fans."
