On the January 17 broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', musician Yoon Sang and his son, RIIZE's Anton, appeared as guests for a family special episode.

On this day, MC Yoo Jae Suk asked Yoon Sang if he had ever imagined that he would one day be the father of a K-Pop idol. Yoon Sang immediately answered, "I never once imagined it in my life. I mean, it's true that he loved music since he was a child, but being an idol is a different area altogether. [Anton] was actually a swimmer for 10 years. Among his peers, he was pretty good at it."

Hearing this, Anton explained that becoming a professional swimmer had never been his dream. "I didn't swim because I dreamt of becoming a professional swimmer. It was rather so I could get into a good school. While swimming, I also learned the piano and the guitar. In middle school, I became interested in composing music as well," the RIIZE member revealed.

Yoon Sang then continued, "At first, when he told me he wanted to be an idol, I said, 'Don't joke with me'. When he told me that he was coming to Korea to become a K-Pop idol, I about had a stroke. Chanyoung (Anton), his mother, and I talked about it for about a year. In the end, we decided to let him give it a shot. With a goal like that in mind, he wasn't going to do well in school anyway. That's how he ended up flying over to Korea."

Later on, Anton shared during his personal interview, "I knew that my parents had planned a different future for me. Even though my dad was living in Korea apart from us, when he came to visit us, he would work on music in a studio in the basement. When I heard the music coming up through the floors, I would press my ears down on the floor to listen closer. I would go down to the basement by myself when he left, because it kind of smelled like him and I just wanted to get to know more about what he was doing."

Also on this day, Yoon Sang reflected on his experience of having his son buy him a meal for the first time in his life. "The day before Christmas, he asked me, 'Are you free?'. We went out for a meal, and then he paid for it. When I came back home, tears came to my eyes. It was the first time my own child had bought me a meal. I thought, 'He's already grown up this much?'."

Finally, the other members of RIIZE also greeted viewers on this day, and Yoon Sang personally introduced each member, one by one.

Adorable story! When your children are babies and young, you think about a lot of firsts they will have...smile, walking, school and even marriage and their own babies, but the first time they buy you something with their own money is also a milestone. You, finally, realize that beautiful young person you raised has become an adult. It sounds like Yoon Sang and Anton have good, solid relationship.

I think the musician blood in him is stronger. There are a lot of celebrities that wants their children not to follow their footstep but i think they cant help it since they saw how their parents growing up. I think not only in Korea but in other Asian countries celebrities raise their children abroad and sent to a very expensive school but still ended up following their parents path too.
