On this day, the musician thanked his fans for the many birthday wishes, writing, "I received so many well wishes on my birthday this year. Really, thank you so much. I'm so happy. Thank you. Thank you so so so so so so much. You all deserve good fortune."
On December 14, Onew celebrated his 34th birthday, receiving happy birthday wishes from fans all over the globe.
Meanwhile, Onew announced a hiatus from promotions in June of this year as a result of his poor health. At the time, the idol assured fans that he needed "a moment to catch his breath," and that he would return healthy in no time.
