Ahyeon departs from YG Entertainment's Baby Monster ahead of group's debut

Ahyeon, who was the debut member of YG Entertainment's new girl group Baby Monster, left the group due to personal reasons.

On November 15 KST, it was announced that Ahyeon recently left the team due to personal reasons. As a result, Baby Monster, which was scheduled to debut as a 7-member group, confirmed their debut as a 6-member group excluding Ahyeon.

Ahyeon was already famous among fans as a 'BLACKPINK's Jennie look-alike'. Last February, YG Entertainment introduced Ahyeon as a trainee with many talents.

Baby Monster is YG's first girl group in 7 years since BLACKPINK and is scheduled to debut on November 27 KST.

this is quite surprising as it seemed that she was plotted to be the (korean) face/ leader of the group.
