Why do Koreans want to integrate into every other country but don’t allow people to integrate into theirs?

Personally I don’t think his acting skills are that good, average at best and his looks does not work for me and I guess many others. His ‘boyish’ looks are more treasured in east Asia than west, so I do not see him replicating current success. Also his current wife is not relevant added value to his brand as his ex wife, more the opposite. Specially for break true in the western cinema, she is beyond insignificant (although she is really cute and they seem to be nicely matched couple in terms of looks, I am talking about her professional gravitas). He did make huge step up thanks to his previous marriage though in professional sense.

True that today success overseas requires more strong network and years of building relationships than outstanding acting skills so eventually he should succeed and deliver few well watched works. Still, if given opportunity the outstanding actors will, well, stand out. Korean acting school is very good one but SJK is not top example. He is typical high traffic star and eventually he’ll make several roles there, I do not doubt, but I cannot see him as significant global star unless he graduates from his current state of art (which I personally doubt is possible as i doubt his talent, but, hey, I can stand corrected). My overview may seem more technical as this is my field of work so apologies to all the fans this is no fan driven POV.
