Ahn Seong Il, CEO of The Givers, is currently under investigation by the police following the aftermath of the 'FIFTY FIFTY Incident.' The investigation began four months after the incident occurred. Gangnam Police Station in Seoul intends to probe into the actions of both CEO Ahn Seong Il and Baek, a director. The two are charged with obstruction of business, breach of trust, and damage to electronic records. The investigation started today, October 24 KST.
The center of the controversy is the group FIFTY FIFTY, who saw significant success following their debut in November, last year. Their song "Cupid", which was released in February, achieved impactful results, making it onto the US Billboard main chart and the UK official chart. Despite being from a small and medium-sized entertainment company, their success set them apart from the traditional powerhouses in the Korean entertainment industry.
However, less than a year into their blossoming career, a dispute arose between the group and their management agency, ATTRAKT. The disagreement centered around the terms of an exclusive contract. ATTRAKT maintained that an external influence had encouraged the members to breach the terms of their contracts.
CEO Ahn Seong Il was implicated as this external influence. Ahn Seong Il was sued by ATTRAKT for obstructing their business, causing damage to electronic records, and committing fraud. The group members, however, refuted these claims, stating they had not been influenced externally. Instead, they highlighted issues within the agency, such as ambiguous financial settlements and violating health care obligations.

Damn, this story is only getting juicier as the months go by. I'm sure we're going to see a lawsuit against the three girls that didn't return to attrakt as well. There isn't enough popcorn..
