TV personality/restaurateur Baek Jong Won helped save the life of an employee who suffered cardiac arrest with CPR. 

According to media reports on October 16th KST, Baek Jong Won helped save the life of a restaurant employee who suffered cardiac arrest with CPR on October 13th. On October 13th, many restaurateurs and people attended the 'Korean Ginseng Festival' in Geumsan, a county in south Chungcheong Province of Korea. 

Baek Jong Won was there to showcase new dishes using Korean Ginseng, however, while he was having a meal with the county executive and the executive from the Korea Tourism Organization, a restaurant employee suddenly collapsed due to cardiac arrest. Baek Jong Won quickly performed CPR while the other two massaged the employee's limbs until the 119 rescue team came. 

It was reported the employee, who turned out to be a family member of the restaurant owner, was safely transported to the nearest hospital and regained consciousness later. 

While the restaurant continuously thanked Baek Jong Won, it was reported Baek Jong Won brushed off by saying "Anyone in that situation would have done the same" and finished his schedule at the event.
