It seems that ATTRAKT will collaborate with JTBC on a new girl group project TV show.
ATTRAKT, which previously faced difficulties due to the FIFTY FIFTY dispute, is pushing forward with a new girl group project. ATTRAKT has already announced its plans to select all the members for the new girl group through an audition program.
According to a report from Newsen on October 20, it is highly likely that ATTRAKT's new girl group audition will be produced in collaboration with JTBC. Detailed negotiations are currently in progress.
An insider mentioned, "It will be a unique audition program," and added, "We will put our best efforts into making it with care."
Despite the legal disputes related to exclusive contracts with the members of FIFTY FIFTY, ATTRAKT has seemingly turned the situation around. The court rejected the members' request for an injunction against the effectiveness of their exclusive contracts in the first trial, and member Keena dropped the lawsuit and returned to the agency.
In addition, ATTRAKT successfully attracted significant overseas investments and has been having meetings with overseas investors who are showing interest in the new girl group project. They have received over 1,000 demo songs from abroad.
Producer Alawn has been confirmed to compose songs for ATRAKT's new girl group. Alawn is known for working with top K-pop idols like IVE, NCT 127, Super M, and Kai, and has written more than 15 Billboard chart-topping songs, creating high expectations.
As ATTRAKT previously announced their goal to debut the new girl group next year, the K-pop industry's attention and anticipation are now focused on whether ATTRAKT can once again create a success story for a small entertainment agency.
