SUGA will be enlisting in the military later this week, BIGHIT MUSIC confirms.

On September 17 KST, the agency took to Weverse to announce that the BTS member would be fulfilling his military duties beginning on September 22.

According to the statement, there will be no special event held on his enlistment day or the day he enters training camp.  

There are no separate official events on the day of service start and training camp entry. They have also requested that fans refrain from visiting the location SUGA will be carrying out his alternate service. Instead, they added, "Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only."

The statement then began discussing unauthorized tour merchandise being illegally sold without the company's permission. The agency warned that they would be taking "appropriate measures" in response to illegal commercial use of SUGA's intellectual property.

"We ask for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his service and returns," the statement concluded. "Our company will also strive to provide all the support he needs during this time."

Meanwhile, SUGA is the third BTS member to enlist for their military service, following Jin and j-hope.
