Hwang Chi Yeol is making his big screen debut in the short film 'Companion'.
On August 2, Hwang Chi Yeol's label TEN2 Entertainment revealed the singer has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming movie 'Companion'. The label stated, "Throughout the years, Hwang Chi Yeol has shown his detailed acting skills in various music videos. We ask for your support and anticipation when he makes his official acting debut."
'Companion' tells the story of the free-spirited Sang Soo (Hwang Chi Yeol), who enjoys busking with his guitar, and Soo Yeon (Lee Seung Yoon), who works at a orphanage. After they meet, they spend 2 days and 3 days healing each other from their painful pasts.

Ok :), he's got my 'support and anticipation'. His voice got me the moment I heard it when he appeared on I Can See Your Voice, and he doesn't look bad either. He's growing older very gracefully, I'm so glad his career received the boost from that show.
