Ma Dong Suk will be producing and starring in Hollywood adaptation of 'Hell Divers'.
On June 22, reports revealed Ma Dong Suk will be producing and starring in an adaption of 'Hell Divers' based on Nicholas Sansbury Smith's sci-fi novel series, and the film will be following the first 3 books from the series.
'Hell Divers' is set in a post-apocalyptic world following World War III as humans live on massive airships due to the poisoned earth. Though most of the airships have failed, the 2 surviving lifeboats are kept surviving by Hell Divers, who skydive to the surface to scavenge for parts. Ma Dong Suk is set to play the lead role of legendary Hell Diver Xavier.
He expressed, "We're thrilled to join Arad Productions and Jerome Chen as producers to adapt the iconic sci-fi novel, and I'm honored and excited to play the hardened yet sensitive character of Xavier."
