aespa is breaking records with their new album 'MY WORLD'!

According to the Hanteo Chart, more than 1.19 million copies of the album have been sold – which can be broken down into roughly 386,000 copies of the intro version, 397,000 copies of the poster version, 188,000 of the tabloid version, and 220,000 of the zine version.

This is the first time a K-pop girl group album sold over 1 million copies on its first day of sales. Other girl group albums that have accomplished this achievement include BLACKPINK's 2nd full-length album 'BORN PINK' which sold 1.01 million copies on the first day and LE SSERAFIM's 1st full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN,' which sold 1.02 million copies on the first day. This means aespa set a new record for most first-day albums sold by a girl group only six days after LE SSERAFIM had broken it themselves.

Meanwhile, this is the second time that aespa has become a 'million seller,' having also previously done so with their 2nd mini album 'Girls.'
