Lee Mi Joo has confirmed her solo debut, 9 years after her debut with Lovelyz.
On April 19 KST, media outlets reported that Lee Mi Joo will release her solo album on May 17 KST. Lee Mi Joo is said to be in the middle of preparing for the final stage of her album.
This will be Lee Mi Joo's first solo outing as a singer 9 years since her debut, and it is meaningful in that it is her first album to be released after her exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment expired last year and she moved to Antenna.
Lee Mi Joo, who debuted as Lovelyz in 2014, is loved for her 'all-rounder' aspect as a singer, broadcaster, and MC. She has been active in many fields, including on MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo', tvN's 'Six Sense', and JTBC's 'New Festa', as well as hosting the '32nd Seoul Music Awards' held in January of this year. Recently, she was selected as the new MC of MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol'.
