Former BLACK6IX member Kim Hyun Jae sues alleged bullying victim for false accusations

AKP STAFF

Former BLACK6IX member Kim Hyun Jae is suing his alleged bullying victim for false accusations.

Kim Hyun Jae previously dropped out of JTBC's 'Peak Time' after being accused of school violence. He denied the allegations then, and on April 20, reports revealed he's now filing a lawsuit against the alleged victim for falsely accusing him.

The former '24 o'clock' member's legal rep stated, "Kim Hyun Jae, who was claimed to be the perpetrator of school violence and dropped out of the idol audition program 'Peak Time', has filed a 500 million won ($377,133.63 USD) lawsuit against the accusers for false claims of school violence." The lawyer continued, "Kim Hyun Jae's elementary and middle school alumni posted false school violence articles with his mother several times, causing Kim Hyun Jae to be accused of being a school bully. He dropped out of 'Peak Time', and he's now demanding compensation for the damages."

According to his legal rep, Kim Hyun Jae attended elementary and middle school on Sangjeongdo Island in Jeollanam-do, which had a population of 800 households. Because of the small population, Kim Hyun Jae attended elementary and middle school with 10 classmates throughout, and if he had bullied a classmate, there would be more witnesses who remember. The lawyer further stated the statements of school seniors, teachers, and police are also being presented as evidence in the lawsuit.

Stay tuned for updates.

Actually I am glad he is doing this. There is a significant portion of false accusations or pure manufactured claims for extortion. These ppl are harming not only latest victim (celebrity in question) but actual victims of bullying. If it was severe case of bullying it can be proven in the court, if false well law is clear. Good for him and good for everyone.
