UP10TION member Hwanhee, who recently announced his departure from the Mnet survival program 'Boys Planet' due to health issues, has decided to part ways with his label TOP Media.
The label announced on March 20 KST,
"Hello, this is TOP Media.
We sincerely thank all fans for their love toward UP10TION.
Our exclusive contract with UP10TION member Hwanhee, which began with his debut in September of 2015, has come to an end as of March 20, 2023.
The label and Hwanhee discussed the matter seriously for a long time, and it was mutually agreed that with the expiration of his initial contract, our relationship would be terminated.
We would like to offer Hwanhee our sincerest thanks for the strength that he brought to each UP10TION album as the group's main vocal, and we plan to cheer him on in his future endeavors as an artist.
We also take this time to once again thank fans for sending their endless love and support toward Hwanhee."
