The annual Brand of the Year Award is hosted by the Korea Consumer Branding Commission and supervised by The Korea Economic Daily and Korea Consumer Forum. The award ceremony announces the individuals with the best brand value selected after a brand-based survey, extensive consumer votes, and expert evaluation and deliberation.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Brand of the Year Award, and a total of 466,633 people, including experts in 14 fields, such as IT, health, education, and finance, participated in the voting.

The results for this year's award ceremony were recently announced.

The award winners are as follows:

Best Male Idol of the Year - Seventeen

Radio DJ - Wendy

Best Entertainment Idol (female) - Lee Mi Joo

Best Acting Idol (Male) - Jaechan

Multimedia (Female) - Soyeon

Advertisement model (Female) - Jennie

Best (Rookie) solo artist - Choi Ye Na

Best Solo Female Artist - Taeyeon
