Choi Ye Na breaks own record in first-day sales with 'Smartphone'

On August 3, Choi Ye Na made her first comeback as a soloist with the second mini-album 'Smartphone' featuring the title track of the same name. According to the data released by Hanteo, the album recorded 55,021 copies sold on its release day, setting a new record for the idol.

With this, 'Smartphone' has become Ye Na's highest-selling album in first-day sales on Hanteo, surpassing the number of copies her debut album 'Smiley' accumulated, which had 25,532 album sales on its first day of release. That is, 'Smartphone' sold more than twice as many units as 'Smiley'.

i think her songs is very refreshing and cheerful, so far most girl groups seems to be going for the "bad ass", girl crush, teen crush concept.. or singing about "Love" and "Break ups" etc.

but her songs "Smiley" and "Smartphone" are wacky and cheerful and avoid such topics.. you can have a 13 year old sing it, and not feel funny about a 13 year old singing about love songs or TOMBOY..for example..

its like a song suitable for all age groups and gender.
