On June 5, singer-songwriter Charlie Puth performed at the iHeart Radio Wango Tango concert and had an interview with 102.7KIISFM.  He revealed that his upcoming album will be dropping in September. When asked about a potential collaboration with BTS, he replied, "I heard that too, and everybody in my camp doesn't know the day it comes out. We legitimately have no idea of the day it comes out. We do, but like we just figured it out."

On Twitter, this interview clip has become a trending topic. The anticipation is as high as it's ever been. Fans are wondering if this collab will be will all of the BTS members or simply Jungkook alone. 

Since BTS's main vocalist Jungkook said that he would want to collaborate with American singer Charlie Puth, there have been speculations of a Charlie and Jungkook collab. Moreover, the fans saw that Charlie had begun to follow Jungkook on social media. Furthermore, Matthew Daniel Siskin, who directs the majority of Charlie's songs, had begun to follow Jungkook on Instagram too. JK has been a fan of Charlie's music for a long time, so it shouldn't come as a surprise if the two collaborated on a song.
