On March 8 KST, Cube Entertainment released an official statement, revealing that BTOB's Hyunsik tested positive for COVID-19.

"Hello.
This is Cube Entertainment.
Today (March 8 KST), BTOB member Lim Hyunsik was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19.
Back on March 7 KST, Lim Hyunsik underwent his first test (self-diagnosis kit test) as a preemptive measure before attending his schedule, and confirmed his positive results.
Following this, he visited the hospital and conducted a PCR test, and was confirmed to have tested positive today.
Previously, Lim Hyunsik completed his third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and paused all his scheduled activities and is currently taking necessary measures according to the guidelines of the health authorities.
We will continue to do our best for the health and safety of our artists by complying with the health authorities' guidelines.
