With less than 24-hours remaining until their long-awaited comeback, YG Entertainment's rookie boy group TREASURE took part in an online press conference to promote the release of 'The Second Step: Chapter One'.

On this day, TREASURE reflected on how they spent their 2021. Member Asahi recalled, "We were very busy in 2021. We wrapped up a new season of 'TREASRE Map' and also filmed vlogs to share with our fans. We were also content to hear from fans that they enjoyed the web drama series. Every moment that we spend as TREASURE is memorable, but I suspect that the highlight of 2022 will be when we meet our fans in-person. I can't wait to feel all of the emotions when we have our concert in April."

Next, the TREASURE members were asked to name one member who has matured the most since debut. Many chose maknae Junghwan, to which he replied, "Thank you. I watch some of my old practice videos from time to time, and it's true that my voice has changed a little bit since then. These days, it is more comfortable for me to speak with a low voice." 

What are TREASURE's goals for this comeback? Yoshi stated, "I would like to cautiously say that our goal is to win #1 on a music program." Bang Ye Dam added on, "I have imagined us winning 1st place on a music program countless times. Last year, the leader hyungs prepared a winning speech just in case, but we got 2nd place. This year, we will work harder so that we can make that dream a reality." 

Finally, Asahi shared, "I would also personally like to go on a world tour. I think that the members would agree with this. Last year, I learned what a fulfilling experience it is to meet fans in-person. I think that in each country we visit, the responses from our fans will be different."

Meanwhile, TREASURE's 1st mini album 'The Second Step: Chapter One', plus the full MV for their title track "Jikjin", will be out worldwide on February 15 at 6 PM KST!
