'SNL Korea 2' announced that its upcoming broadcast and filming have been cancelled, due to a production crew member testing positive for COVID-19.
On February 3 KST, 'SNL Korea 2' released an official statement, revealing,
"We inform you that the upcoming February 5 KST (Saturday) broadcast of 'SNL Korea 2' episode 7 will not be broadcast.
We did our best to film for 'SNL Korea' by taking preventative measures, but one of our production crew members has tested positive for COVID-19.
We are currently having all our staff and cast members undergo the COVID-19 test, and we have decided to cancel both this week's filming schedule and the February 5 KST broadcast.
We will be making a decision for the following broadcast after taking into consideration the safety of all staff and cast members., according to the quarantine guidelines.
'SNL Korea' will actively cooperate with the quarantine guidelines to ensure safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We sincerely hope that the spread of COVID-19 will subside as soon as possible."
