The film 'The Pirates 2' was first released in theaters on January 26 KST. Afterward, for 6 consecutive days, it maintained the #1 spot in the Korean box office. According to the Korean Film Council, 'The Pirates 2' attracted 118,560 audience members on January 31, with a cumulative amount of 612,727 audience members.The success of 'The Pirates 2' is expected to continue, with its real-time ticket sales achieving 31% in profits as of February 1 at 12PM KST.
In particular, the star-studded cast members Han Hyo Joo, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, and Kim Sung Oh took time to deliver their Lunar New Year's greetings on February 1 KST.
