ASTRO's JinJin tests positive for COVID-19; Moonbin and Sanha to also undergo testing

ASTRO's JinJin recently tested positive for COVID-19, Fantagio Music confirmed in a statement released on September 19 KST.

According to the statement, JinJin received a PCR test on September 16 after he began to feel ill, but the results came back negative. However, the symptoms persisted, and on September 18, an additional PCR test was conducted, this time indicating that the idol was virus-positive. As a result, he is currently in self-quarantine and awaiting further instruction from health officials.

ASTRO members Moonbin and Sanha, as well as staff whose activities overlapped with JinJin's, are being tested and will remain under self-quarantine as they await their results. All schedules for the time being have been cancelled. 

The agency ended their statement ensuring that they have prioritized their artist's health and will do their best to ensure a speedy recovery.
