Kim Min Kyu may be starring in an upcoming drama!
According to his agency Jellyfish Entertainment, the actor/TV personality is currently in talks to join the cast of JTBC's 'Idol.'
As previously reported, the script for 'Idol' will be written by Jung Yoon Jung ('Misaeng,' 'Arang and the Magistrate,' 'The Bride of Habaek') and directed by Noh Jong Chan ('Personal Taste,' 'Clean With Passion For Now'). EXID member/actress Hani has also been offered the female lead role.
Meanwhile, Kim Min Kyu first became popular as a contestant on Mnet's 2019 survival program 'Produce X 101,' and has gone on to star in web drama 'Pop Out Boy' opposite Weki Meki's Kim Do Yeon as well as MC MTV's 'The Show.'
