
On January 16, Super Junior's Siwon took to his official SNS to send words of condolences and prayers to Indonesia, after a powerful earthquake struck the island of Sulawei on January 15.
According to global media reports, the 6.2 magnitude earthquake which hit the island of Sulawei on the early morning of January 15 led to the death of at least 42, over 600 injured, and over 150,000 displaced. Over 300 buildings have also been destroyed or damaged, and both the death toll and the number of missing people are expected to rise.
In his recent SNS posts, Super Junior's Siwon sent out a solemn message to Indonesia both in English and Indonesian. Meanwhile, Siwon is currently active as a special representative for UNICEF in Southeast Asia.
