BTS' Map of the Soul: Persona becomes Best Selling Korean Album

TODAY, BTS HAS TRULY OUTSOLD EVERYONE AS MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA BECOMES SOUTH KOREA’S BEST-SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME.

BTS’ influence knows no bounds, and the boys are proving it through another historical achievement.

On May 9, the Gaon Chart announced that Map of the Soul: Persona is officially South Korea’s best-selling album of all time, having sold 3,229,032 units in less than a month.

Map of the Soul: Persona has been breaking records upon its release. The album tallied 3,021,822 pre-orders, and over 1.38 million units sold on its first week. This is the fifth BTS album to be included in South Korea’s list of best-selling albums of all time, alongside the Love Yourself series in 2017-2018, and the Wings album in 2016.
