Big Hit Entertainment has released an apology to TXT fans regarding the controversy behind their official fandom name.

On May 6, the agency took to TXT's official social media to explain that they had not realized that TXT's fandom name was already in use by another artist until after the name had been announced. They then extended their apologies to the fans that had been waiting for an official fandom name and all of those who have been inconvenienced by their mistake.

The agency then announced that they have decided to create a new fandom name and asked fans to submit their ideas.

Meanwhile, back on April 25, Big Hit Entertainment had revealed that the name of TXT's fandom would be 'Young One.' However, as of September of last year, this is also the name of Tiffany Young's solo fandom.
