UEE opened up about the malicious comments on her appearance.

On the April 11 airing of tvN's 'Life Bar,' UEE talked about rising to fame after debuting as a member of After School. She said, "After School itself had a ssaen unnie (strong tough female) character. I had a healthy character and I think people were amazed by that."

She added, "After I appeared on 'Star King,' my solo schedule was filled. I couldn't feel my popularity at the time."

The idol-turned-actress also talked about her weight loss. She said, "I lost weight for my drama character but I read so many comments telling me to regain weight. That was stressful," and added, "I, too, didn't want to lose the fat in my thighs. To be honest, I did stop getting many endorsement offers after I lost my thighs."

She continued, "I'm okay with malicious comments saying I've undergone cosmetic procedure but I got worried about my parents. So I pretended to be okay, but then later I got intimidated and ended up showing tears at the sets."
