(G)I-DLE will be singing their first ever OST since debut, for upcoming tvN Wed-Thurs drama series 'Her Private Life'!
The new tvN drama starring Park Min Young, Kim Jae Wook, and more tells the story of a talented career woman who transforms into a die-hard idol fangirl/homemaster once she clocks off from work. (G)I-DLE will be singing the drama's first OST "Help Me", set for release on April 11 at 6 PM KST. The track will serve as a lively theme song, in light of 'Her Private Life's premiere.

OH COME ON!. As if Park Min Young was not reason enough alone to get me to watch this. Throw in one of my top 3 girl groups and now its a sure thing. Top 3 girl groups of all time. I'm a first genner and they're just rookies. Though to be fair, Soyeon alone is a MONSTER rookie before you add in the other 5
Before the inevitable conversation begins comparing Soyeon's success to the other members of her season of Produce, (because it always happens and is almost inevitable) be sure to specify just how we should define success. For me, it isn't just about show wins. Album sales, Album chart ranking, name recognition of the group leading to acting, variety show and CF roles all contribute to success. Most of the near 100 girls have seen success, and with the exception of Pristin (WTF Pledis?) can continue to do so. Soyeon's star is just continuing to rise on a much more explosive trajectory!
That said, fucking stan talent. If you are not familiar with Soyeon, Miyeon, Sojin, Yuqi, Minnie and Shuhua, where have you been? Get familiar. They have a lot to offer no matter your preference. Those of you know who know me, know I would never say to abandon your loves for a group, just give them a try. Soyeon has had a hand in writing and or producing nearly all of their music. Their latest Album I made, Soyeon produced the entirety of it, and wrote all of it with input from the members with the exception of one song written by Minnie. Can you tell I'm a little hype?
a New group, especially a monster can invigorate the industry, and I hope compels other groups and their companies to work harder.
